When I was a child, every Independence Day, my whole family would gather at my aunt’s house for a barbeque. All the kids would swim and play games during the day, but the real fun came as it started to get dark. We would begin the night by lighting sparklers and mini fireworks in the driveway while our parents loaded the cars with blankets, folding chairs and thermos’s filled with my aunt’s delicious hot chocolate.
